More than £1billion is unclaimed in business rates
In the last rating list it was revealed that there could be over £1 billion of unclaimed business rates.
Business rates are the 4th highest expenditure for businesses
For many businesses in England and Wales business rates are one of the highest bills they have to face, and in some cases have to close the doors due to high business rates.
Rebates Backdates to 1st April 2010
New legislation means that certain types of businesses rates appeals can be backdated to 1/4/10, and continue to 31/3/21
