Seeing a clear path through the rates maze

The Association of British Dispensing Opticians (ABDO) reports sharp rates to rise for retail opticians' premises -an unexpected consequence of new measures by the Chancellor.

To compound matters, ABDO notes the increased burden on the ratepayer to supply detailed reasons for an appeal, which has to be made within four months of the response of the Valuation Officer to any challenge.

Clearly, opticians need to delegate the complex matter of rates appeals to professionals experienced in challenges to retail rates, with a proven success record of success.

Commercial Property Advisors (CPA) is pleased to offer fast and efficient service, on a no win no fee basis. CPA will take the headache out of challenging business rates and look forward to hearing from businesses anxious to control their overheads, in a difficult commercial climate.
