With the forthcoming redistribution of #businessrates, increasing the local councils cut from 50% to 75%, it still remains to be seen how this will pan out and where the benefits will go. Whether local councils will use these new powers as a tool to attract more business' by offering up more relief, use the increased funds to finance other under funded areas or take a wait and see approach, it is positive that more control has been given to local authorities so a more bespoke approach can be taken.
