Business rates unfair to rural areas

The Fermanagh Herald reports heated debate in the local Council chamber, over the vexed question of business rates. In particular, do reforms to town centre rates risk discriminating against rural areas?

Commercial Property Advisors (CPA) maintain strongly that both town and rural areas deserve equally urgent rates relief, and have successfully appealed rates demands in the West Country and elsewhere. They operate a friendly, fast service with no up-front charges to their clients. CPA undertake all paperwork, including surveys, uncovering many rating anomalies in the process, which have placed severe and unnecessary strain on struggling businesses.
